NEW CONSTRUCTION

Piles are installed on 5′ to 7′ centers after the foundation is formed. The pile installs like a lag screw so no soil is removed. Two mats of rebar are required in the foundation. Helical piles can be installed where auger trucks cannot go. Installation in wet areas is possible with tracked installers. Helical pile installation is rapid enough to precede concrete placement and involves minimal disturbance. Installers can reach most areas without the need to cross the foundation forms. Helical piles can be used for other bearing problems and can be installed in limited headroom.

TIEBACKS

Helical tiebacks can be used in tension applications to anchor retaining walls. Helical tiebacks have shorter bond lengths than grouted ones, so they can be used where it is necessary to not encroach beyond the property line.

The anchors are installed in tie points in the soldier beams for a clean look.

Combined with horizontal pipes, helical tiebacks allow anchoring of MSE geogrid walls without excessive excavation.

UNDERPINNING

Underpinning is used when an existing structure has failed and support must be restored and the house returned to level. Underpinning brackets allow transferring of the structure load to the newly installed piles. They can be installed with minimal destruction to landscaping.

Rigid piles will stand unsupported.

Hand units allow installation inside buildings.
