Two Georgia Manufacturers Partner to Increase Solar in the State

Dublin, GA – The state of Georgia has yet another solar project to add to its portfolio located in Dublin, GA.  Cantsink partnered with local Georgia manufacturer, MAGE Solar, to complete a 1 MW solar project.  MAGE Solar’s module manufacturing plant is located in the city of Dublin.

Cantsink’s President, Patrick Hutchinson, said, “As the solar market in Georgia continues to grow, we see the direct correlation with job growth in the state. MAGE Solar was a great example adding jobs into the Dublin area for the solar industry.“

Radiance Solar was the EPC on this project while Cantsink was the general contractor and installer of 375 driven piles.  The time of the installation of the piles to turning on the new Dublin solar project was 17 business days.  The solar project was completed quickly and efficiently.

The project was apart of Georgia Power’s Advanced Solar Initiative program, which announced 210 MW of solar development in the state from 2013 to 2015. Last summer, the Public Service Commission approved an additional 525 MW initiative leaving Georgia on the map in solar development in the country.
